Periodic and Management Accounts
In many cases annual accounts can be prepared too late to allow you to make the best business decisions. Even if they are completed within a couple of months from the year end circumstances may have dramatically changed from earlier in the year.
The preparation of accounts on a monthly basis will allow you to steer your business more accurately and react to fluctuations in month on month performance.
If you have a computerised accounting package we will help you set up the software and train you in the monthly procedures needed to generate accurate and meaningful monthly accounts. In our experience it is better to work with the software rather than try to work around it - an approach that sadly is still not widely used.
Where monthly management accounts are prepared it is usually possible to reduce the work needed to complete the annual accounts.
In many cases we are able to remotely work on your own accounts system from our offices (with your permission of course). This means we can resolve any ongoing problems or issues you or your staff have very quickly.
