Richard J. Hudson FCA

 

Richard HudsonBorn and educated in Keighley and currently living in Oakworth, Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 after completing a training contract with the firm.

Whilst being a general practitioner with a diverse workload and spread of clients, he has a particular interest in all matters connected with information technology and heads up the team advising clients on the selection and best use of accounting software and equipment.

As audit compliance and ethics principal he also has overall responsibility to ensure that the audit, tax and accountancy work performed for some of the firm’s larger clients complies with the highest quality standards.

Away from the office Richard enjoys spending as much time as possible with his young family and has a keen interest in music, (especially when on Vinyl LP !) together with anything connected with the great outdoors.

Catherine Hill

Catherine lives in Silsden and left South Craven school in July 1995 to join Stirk Lambert & Co as a trainee, initially studying for her Association of Accounting Technicians’ qualification (AAT). After gaining this qualification the next step in her career was to train as a Chartered Accountant, something that she achieved during 2000. A 20-month spell in an accountancy practice in Leeds brought useful additional experience at which point she returned to Stirk Lambert & Co to complete her taxation studies with the Institute of Taxation in 2004.

Catherine became a partner during 2005 and now has a varied and expanding client portfolio. She is married with two young children and in addition to spending time with her family she enjoys karate, pilates and jogging

Steve mcgevor ba(hons) fcca

Steve was born and brought up in Manchester and now lives in Skipton.  

After obtaining a degree in business and finance from University in Newcastle-upon-Tyne he started his training to become a Chartered Certified Accountant at a small accountancy practice in Manchester.  To broaden his experience he moved to the Isle of Man in 1999 where he completed his training and spent 7 years enhancing his general accountancy experience and also gaining exposure to offshore tax structures. 

Since moving back to England with his family to join Stirk Lambert & Co in July 2006 he has built up a portfolio of clients and has been running our Bingley office since August 2007. 

Steve is married with a young daughter and outside of work he enjoys nothing better than travelling and exploring new places with his family.
