iCash – Our Internet based accounting system
iCash is our online electronic cashbook which replaces the need for a manual cashbook or having to buy and update off the shelf accounting packages when your business accounting is straight forward.
You need no software, other than your standard internet browser and using the highest level of data encryption on a dedicated secure server, you enter your bank, cash and business credit card transactions. A bank reconciliation facility helps you check your entries against your bank statements.
We then review your entries made to the system on a regular basis and make any amendments at that time should they be required. We can monitor the progress of your business throughout the year and offer advice on a more timely basis.
Reports are available at any time on line such as:-
Cash summary, Detailed cashbook, VAT reports - (gives you the information needed to complete your VAT returns)
We recommend that a broadband connection is used to access the service to ensure a fast response time, although if the transaction batches are kept fairly small a dial up connection will be perfectly adequate.
The system works best for small clients who would normally write up a cashbook manually but who do not need to maintain sales and purchase ledgers. In this respect the system is much simpler to use than off the shelf packages such as Quickbooks or Sage.
